It's a new (school) year!

I have always loved school.  I look forward to the new year before the old one has even ended.  Summers are cherished, but August is for a new start.  Since I began teaching 17 years ago, my practice has been to start August 1st.  I get into my classroom, take it apart, and then put it back together.  It's worked really well for me, up until this year!  This year, school must be starting earlier or there are more meetings, or something.  I do not have enough time.  Of course, Pinterest is also a change this year!  Oh yeah, that just might be it!  There are just so many projects.  As of today- lamps, check- table redone, check.  To do:  paint bookshelf, paper backs of bookshelves, hang frames, new labels for library, then all the regular beginning of year stuff.  Stinking Pinterest.  I love it!  :)
